Looking for a unique image or sentiment?

Well then! Welcome to Scribbles Designs. And welcome to Sandy's world of her funky imagination and quirky characters. Sandy's has had a pencil in her hand since she was "knee-high to a grasshopper" and started on her artistic journey with her first family ball & stick figures portrait at age 3. We'll have to find the piece of work in the family history trunk and post it...

Sandy has loved art, drawing, and doodling for many years... and with the digital image world she can now share it with all of you. Brrr (Penguin) was her first main character and her other quirky images followed not long after. We hope you enjoy the enduring images and look around and add Sandy's images to your digital stamp collections!

Freebie Friday: Gecko

Another Happy Friday Scribblers!! How are we all doing? I hope your Easter celebrations were fabulous and your upcoming weekend even better!  I had a toss up between two images and I thought I was going to create another Easter themed card but then Gecko beckoned me!

If you followed the previous Friday, you'll know Sam loves orange; so I just couldn't resist to  create a card in one of her favorite colors!

I hope that Sam loves the bright orange gecko and the gecko background with the vellum banner. And I hope that you all have a fabulous weekend and look forward to Sam's upcoming adventures here a Scribbles Designs Freebie Fridays!

Have a fabulous day!

Freebie Friday: Carrot

Happy Easter Scribblers!! How are we all doing? I hope that you well and that you have had a fab week and you have an awesome weekend planned. Seen as though its Easter I have made a card that I will be giving to one of my family members to celebrate. Sandy has just been blowing me away with the images she is coming up with for me to share with your guys each week! This week is no exception!

I love carrots and I love orange so this week's card was very much monochromatic and very orange!

Love the bunch of carrots and the banner is made out of vellum with some alphabet stickers that I had in my stash! I hope that you all have a fab weekend I am trotting off to Cambridge, UK today for a long weekend away with Jono my partner, I can't wait to get there.

Have a fab day!

Freebie Friday: Daisy

Hello all you scribblers! How has your week been? I have had a bit of a mad one but I have had chance to have a play out in my garden and get some of my flower beds weeded and some new plants planted. Which has inspired this weeks card really. You'll see what I mean. Here's today's free image.

I do love daisies there are the happiest of flowers for me. And being in the garden I just had to make a bunch of flowers!

I really do love these images there are so easy to work with and super easy to colour. Now I did colour mine on the PC using Photoshop but your could easily colour this with copics. Also I don't know if you can see it very well but I used some glossy accents to try and recreate little dew drops on the petals. I think it turned out okay.

Well I hope that you have a fab week end and I shall see you next week!

Freebie Friday: Sun 1

I don't know about you but that weeks seems to have whooshed past me!! I have a sunny image to share with you today which I am quite happy to see as here in little Old York we have had grey skies everyday and today is the first bit of sun that we have had! Here is this week fab image.

Ain't it cute! And my card today has a sunny theme to it.

I used a seaside theme paper to print the image on and I used a bit of felt for the cloud, the sentiment is defiantly how I have felt this week. Next week I have a bit of a nutty image to share with you! (hint hint) Until next time Scribblers!!

Have a fab day!
